Technical staff—including web developers, IT professionals, system administrators, product managers, UX/UI designers, and application support teams—play a foundational role in ensuring Georgia Tech’s digital ecosystem meets Title II of the ADA web and digital accessibility requirements.

From website design and application configuration to platform selection and procurement decisions, the work of technical staff directly shapes whether Georgia Tech’s digital platforms are accessible, compliant, and usable for all members of the community. As such, technical staff are key partners in building and sustaining an enterprise-level approach to digital accessibility.

Web developers and technical content creators develop and maintain the templates and frameworks used across college, school, and unit/departmental websites.  These shared systems establish the baseline for accessibility and enable units to create public-facing digital resources that are accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities.
